Fall

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 6, 2009, 12:53 PM
While I am a little late posting this, Fall is one of the seasons that reminds me why I live where I do. Two years ago, I thought I would have been far from this area a long time ago. But when one considers the amount of natural beauty in your surrounds and other factors, it makes you think about what is really important in life and sometimes you have to make sacrifices in some areas to get what you want in other areas. When I was by myself it was easy to travel to other parts of the country and shoot with models. My art and work is still important, but not as important as some other things in my life. Therefore due to limitations of talented models in my area and a lack of ability to travel, this is why I haven’t been submitting as much work as I used to submit. I hope you will understand.

Three Years ago, I wrote a short poem. While I am not a good writer of poetry, I still like this one today.
As fall rolls in, the winds of change are blowing.
Now that the air is clear, my vision is pure.
I can see the beauty hidden in plain sight,
The burst of colors, the bright lights, the shape of things to come
No longer will I be controlled by false prophets,
Bound by the chains of their fictitious morality
The winds of change are here, and I welcome them

You have some nice work Dude. Where in VA are you located?
:icongray-line-studios:
Thank you, I am in a small town between Lynchburg and Roanoke, but I travel all over. I looked at your work and see your also in VA. Your work is great, but i didn't recognize any of the models so I guessing your in another part of the state...

I live in the Stauton/Harrisonburg area. I do enjoy your area also though. We regularly do Bedford and Peaks of otter on my Parkway trips.
